Our story
Built by insiders, not outsiders.
Nailcare Academy was founded on a simple observation: nail technicians were being asked to work on medically fragile clients with no medical training, and no one in the industry was going to fix it for them.
Janet McCormick had already spent decades as a technician, salon owner, spa director and educator. Together with co-founder Karen Hodges she built a curriculum that treats nail care as a health service.
