The Advanced Nail Technician Program (ANT) Certification A program for nail technicians who wish to advance their skills to a high level of safety. This advanced career development course covers many topics that support nail techs to become elite professionals serving clients at the highest level of care. The information trains the nail professional to work safely not only with routine clients, but also those who are elderly or chronically ill. 51% of Americans over 20 have one or more chronic illnesses (CDC). The course is 10 modules, with learning activities, Study Questions, and a comprehensive online exam of 50 questions. The program includes the Safe Salon Concepts Module and one containing marketing materials, plus offers free courses following the program for graduates. The Safe Salon certification requires a second exam. The information in the ANT is a step up from school and salon level training. The technician gains advanced knowledge in attracting referrals from/referring clients to the appropriate medical providers such as dermatologists or podiatrists, if needed. The ANT is prerequisite to the following programs: the Wellness Nail Technician and the Medical Nail Technician Internship Programs. *** With the following programs, the nail professional will move to a higher level of care and/or prepare to work in a medical setting, if that is a goal.
